Manafort and Don Jr. have both expressed their willingness to cooperate with investigators, however, actions speak louder than words. The Trump administration is only willing to be transparent when they are forced.
Considering Manafort and Don Jr. can deny the invitation to interview, it remains to be seen how willing they are to interview.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley wants to subpoena Manafort and Don Jr. should they refuse.
Republicans are scrambling to clear Don Jr.’s name after he was forced to publicize emails indicating a clear case of collusion with the Russians. Trump sent out his minions to push the “fake news” narrative and blame the Democrats.
Millions of Americans are waiting to see justice served. As of now, members of the Trump administration are clearly breaking the law without facing any negative repercussions.
