The Clinton Foundation should be indicted as a racketeering enterprise, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a supporter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, said Sunday.
“She did favors for those very people who gave money to the Clinton Foundation,” Giuliani said on “Fox News Sunday.”
When host Shannon Bream pushed back, saying those involved with the foundation have claimed they haven’t been under investigation, Giuliani said, “That’s the biggest bunch of garbage I’ve ever heard.
“They are under, I believe, investigation, and if they’re not, the Justice Department should be ashamed of themselves.”
The Clinton Foundation’s fundraising from corporate and foreign donors has been a target of Republicans, who allege that those supporters had undue influence over the Clintons’ work in government.
“She is the consummate corrupt Washington insider,” Giuliani said of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Former President Bill Clinton said this week that if his wife is elected, the foundation will no longer take foreign or corporate money.
